T.A.S.K. Student
Code of Conduct

We have over twenty nine years experience in teaching Advanced Systematic Kinesiology and helping others to use these techniques. The Code of Practice and Ethics are provided to help students to get the best out of the Course. We want every student to derive the maximum benefits from the information both for their own development, and for those they will help with their health care.

All techniques have been clinically tested by physicians, and are perfectly safe when carried out as demonstrated and practiced in class.

Puntuality:

The Faculty are responsible for starting the sessions on time.  This policy will be adhered to even if everyone in the group is not present.  Please plan to arrive early.  When a drinks break or lunch break is announced, please be responsible to be back in your seat at the time requested. This is so we can cover all the material in the time allotted. It is irresponsible and lacking in courtesy to the tutor and to the group to be late for class.

Clothing:

Please wear clothes that are loose and comfortable, and which will not cause any embarrassment when work shopping in various positions.  Students workshop on treatment couches so please allow for that in your selection of clothes.

Personal Responsibility:

Everyone in the class is encouraged to take care of their own needs.  If you are too hot, or too cold, or suffering from lack of air, of if you are uncomfortable or cannot hear, please change your position. The Tutor will always facilitate whatever needs to be done for everyone’s comfort. So long as they are made aware of a problem.  If you need to visit the toilets, please go whenever you feel the need without waiting for a break, as the facilities are usually limited, and we wish to avoid queues and unnecessary delays at break times.

Work shopping with others:

In any group, there will always be people you find easier to work with than others.  Avoid work shopping with the same person, or persons in the group.  Make it your aim to work with each person in turn, regardless of your personal feelings.  This will stand you in good stead, as we cannot always choose people that we like or are drawn to as clients, and it will prevent anyone from feeling they are being avoided for any reason.

"Other Therapies":

We have experts in many varied branches of health care attending our course.  Everyone is requested to concentrate solely on Systematic Kinesiology while in the classes.  Please do not introduce other modalities, such as reflexology, iridology, reiki, shiatsu etc., into the context of the Practitioner Course.  We appreciate that all therapies fit into overall scheme of things.  Systematic Kinesiology can be used as a stand alone therapy, and also by anyone as an adjunct to complement their own skills in other areas.  In this Course, you will need all the practice you can get, so be sure you maintain Systematic Kinesiology as the focus.

Food & Drink:

Please do not eat in class during the sessions.  Eating sandwiches, fruit, nuts, seeds, or other foods in class is not acceptable.  If you find you really need to snack, please wait for a break. We are aware of the need  for many people, especially those suffering from low energy or Hypoglycaemia to eat regularly.  The breaks are set out with this in view.

Water is supplied in virtually unlimited quantities. Please do not consume any other types of drinks in the class room. They invariably get spilled, and stain carpets.

"Business Opportunities":

Some who take the Course have agencies, franchises, and distributorships for supplements, nutrients, and other items.  Although in principle we applaud entrepreneurial activities and ways to develop business, we do not permit T.A.S.K. course attendees to engage other students in discussions, contracts or sales without prior permission from T.A.S.K. offices.

Equipment and Supplements:

We have built up a very good relationship with Insurers, and supplies over the years.  We select the best products in each field from years of experience with many thousands of people.  We recommend only those products which work best, regardless of their source or any advantage T.A.S.K. may or may not have from its relationship with any company.  Our professional Code of Ethics & Conduct constrains all our Members only to offer products for sale that are safe and effective, regardless of any personal income that might accrue from their sale.

Personal Hygiene:

“If you have B.O. you’re the last to know, the saying goes.”  Students & Professionals cannot afford to err in this area.  It is a sensitive topic, and although every care may be taken by individuals, the effort involved in the work shopping, or nervousness, may mean that additional thought and attention to personal hygiene has to be given to avoid any problems arising. If you go on to become a Professional Practitioner and once in practice, clients will tend not to make subsequent appointments with unhygienic practitioners!!!
