Kinesiology (Kin-easy-ology) uses simple, safe, precise muscle testing procedures to find problem areas, to get to the cause/root of the problem and not just deal with the symptom(s) of a problem. Kinesiology uses massage, nutrition, energy reflexes, and counselling to balance holistically. The Most Potent, Safe, Powerful, Natural Approach to Holistic Health Care for the Millennium and Beyond!!

BALANCE FOR THE WHOLE PERSON
Everyone knows working in any city is stressful! Articles abound on various ways to cope. But a new effective holistic health impetus is rapidly gathering momentum, it is called Applied Kinesiology® or A.K. for short. Its main claim to fame? It is the most truly holistic approach to natural health care. Discovered in 1964, and constantly being researched and improved, it offers plenty of self-help techniques that really work. A.K. is a patented name in the USA, here in the UK we use S.K. for Systematic Kinesiology.
Kinesiology is a natural health care system which uses gentle muscle testing to evaluate many functions of the body in the structural, chemical, neurological, and biochemical realms.
Kinesiological muscle testing does not assess strength, but tests the integrity of the many factors which determine its response when called upon to contract. If you think of a simple electrical circuit with a fuse - if the fuse is blown it will not work at all - if the fuse is the wrong rating it will blow the circuit or work erratically!! By fitting the correct fuse the circuit will work to it best ability. Systematic Kinesiology works the same way using muscle testing. Therefore a weak muscle test will go strong with the correct nutrition, dealing with an emotion, etc.....
Kinesiology testing does not diagnose disease. Muscle testing enables analysis which detects minor functional imbalances. Minor imbalances when not corrected, accumulate and cause compensations.
Compensations compound each other, lead to functional changes, and give rise to symptoms of discomfort, pain or maybe allergic reactions. If these warnings are ignored, disease can follow.
Using massage, nutrition, and contact points, Kinesiology helps with: emotions and anxieties, specific personal dietary intake and supplements for nutritional deficiencies, structural imbalances and energy blocks. Kinesiology balances the whole person, which enhances health and well-being.
HEALTH WARDS OFF DISEASE......
KINESIOLOGY IS TRULY PREVENTIVE!
KINESIOLOGY IS A REVOLUTIONARY APPROACH
Dr. Sheldon Deal, N.M.D., renowned physician in the U.S.A., says: "Kinesiology may turn out to be the most therapeutic advance of the last century. It has already revolutionized many practices. I would venture to say that in the next few years it will cause tremendous changes in all branches of the healing profession that are open to change and improvement."
A FRIENDLY WARNING
We have been often asked why we do not run ‘Home Study’ or ‘Distance Learning’ courses……
Muscle Testing is a very subtle test that has to be shown, felt, practiced in classes and above all experienced by highly trained tutors. The pressure applied when muscle testing should be the same for example a 6ft rugby player as it would be for an eighty year old Grandmother! To learn to drive or fix a car or to teach someone how it feels to touch hot/icy water from a book or a website in theory is sound until you put it into practice - you have to experience it first hand!!
Muscle Testing is NOT a strength test!
Unfortunately there are poorly trained Kinesiologists in the UK that have given Kinesiology bad press as there are people using muscle testing to poor effect – overpowering and actually causing injuries!!!! As they say “if it was that easy everybody would be doing it!”
You may see this friendly warning in a couple of places on our website.
Here at T.A.S.K. we would like to emphasis that Kinesiology is a serious subject that should be learned in depth by highly qualified tutors, it is not a fad/fashion! T.A.S.K. students are NOT qualified until they have passed the Professional Practitioner Course (unlike some of our competition) and have insurance to practice. Please bear this in mind if you are planning to see a Kinesiologist and even more so if you are planning to learn Kinesiology – ask how long they have trained for and where, it is worth seeing if you have a rapport with the practitioner/tutor before you embark on treatments or studying.
Finally it is worth remembering that our founder (Brian Butler) brought Kinesiology to the UK in 1976 then founded The Academy of Systematic Kinesiology in 1985. T.A.S.K. has taught 1000’s of students over the years and only Kinesiology.
If you are looking to learn Systematic Kinesiology then why learn from the learners when you could be learning from the teachers!
